We often have a sweet treat at our team meetings, staff birthdays and seasonal events. Kitty at ‘Kitty’s cakes & bakes‘ is the trusted professional behind the delicious goods, based in our local town of Dartmouth.
My name is Kitty and I’m a PhD student at the University of Exeter researching the health of school children.
I started Kitty’s Cakes and Bakes in May 2020 during the first lockdown to share my creations with Dartmouth and the surrounding areas! I specialise is bespoke, made-to-order celebration cakes. I also make a variety of cupcakes, blondies, brownies, cookies and other sweet treat. I’m always happy to work with my customers to bake them the cake of their dreams!
From Easter, I also offer monthly ‘Bake Sales’ where you can sample a variety of different bakes. Please keep your eye open for the dates of these!
I am proud to offer Dartmouth alternative bakes to what is currently available, and cater for dietary requirements such as vegan bakes, gluten free and diabetic options.

We highly recommend Kitty when guests ask us where they can purchase a birthday cake for a special celebration. We have tried many of Kitty’s bakes from her bespoke mince pie cookies to her indulgent brownies and we can honestly say you will not be disappointed.
This year we celebrated our Regional Supervisor Lorna’s birthday with an extra special cake made by Kitty. The show stopper cake made up for our limited and social distanced celebration due to Covid and our company guidelines in place.
